Finally, I was impressed with the packaging, which was almost all paper and cardboard, not big chunks of styrofoam, and by how quickly the lamp snapped together. The light in the warmest setting is very nice and can be made brighter as desired. The motion sensor is fantastic - if you fall asleep with the light on, it turns itself off, and you can turn it back on with a wave of your fingers. I love the dimmer for the times when I need just a little indirect light in the room after the spouse has gone to sleep. The lamps can be configured in so many different ways, and the range of motion is so large, that light can be directed onto a book without disturbing the sleeping spouse at all, whether sitting up in bed or sprawled on your side. They totally satisfy the demands of two very picky people who like to read in bed but not at the same time. Great bedside lamps for readers & sleepers I bought 2 of these about a month ago, and I am so happy with them.
